UTC released a provision in the Standard Terms and Conditions that establishes our expectation that our suppliers adopt a code of conduct suitable to their business that addresses key focus areas.

To help our suppliers review and comply with this provision, we refer them to resources available for their use:

1. Assistance in creating a code can be found on the website of the nonprofit Ethics Resource Center, under “Resources”, “Toolkit.”
2. UTC’s Ombudsmen serve as a confidential and informal information resource that suppliers can use if they encounter UTC business-related concerns.
